Our client, the world’s leading search engine and technology company, is seeking pplication Security & Privacy Analyst, Security and Privacy, Trust & Safety. This is a 6 month + contract position located in Sunnyvale, CA.
Summary:
Developers that use the client APIs to access client users’ data, might have to complete a verification process before publishing apps.
For example, all apps that access client APIs must verify that they accurately represent their identity and intent and complete other steps as specified by client API Services User Data Policy.
This project is to innovate and scale the underlying verification processes client uses.
Responsibilities: Operations oversight Define criteria, resource allocation and monitor overall performance against criteria.
Communicate risk/issues/watch items and manage ongoing ops enhancements.
Experience in third party risk management, application security assessments, privacy policy analysis.
Develop dashboards and insights using Plx.
Process design. Develop repeatable methods for consistent results. Develop infrastructure to support analyses and automate audit procedures.
Research new detection techniques to prevent/mitigate abusive activities such as security attacks, data leakage, bot/clusters, and other malicious behaviors which violate Terms of Service, AUP or User data policy.
Escalation Manage 3P developer engagement and response on app review issues.
Develop solutions for edge cases and apply risk methodology to enforcement actions.
Review applications from developers.
Engage with global review teams and identify process enhancements
Conduct data analysis and drive risk insights.
Requirements: 3+ years’ experience in the following: Third party vendor management, Application security assessment, Cloud security, Security engineering
Experience conveying complex technical problems to executive leadership and communicating with external and internal stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including multiple years engaging with developers or executives in large enterprises.
Strong knowledge of API ecosystems and OAUTH verification/credentialing.
3+ years’ experience writing SQL code, data analytics or python.
Computer science or analytics education.

Desired Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Pay rate range: $98.70 – $109.06 hourly
