Description
As an Intellectual Property, Technology, Privacy and Data Security Counsel, you will represent clients in the process of obtaining and offering technology and associated services, and licensing intellectual property (including software).
Tasks also include providing advisory services to clients with regard to privacy and data security matters. You will work with clients from a broad variety of industries, including Internet/e-commerce, software and online services, entertainment, banking and financial services, consumer products, pet care, accounting, manufacturing, retail, IT, and others.
You will also advise on technology, intellectual property and privacy/data security concerns during the course of transactions (including standalone engagements and M&A activity), and advise clients on intellectual property management, protection and enforcement.
As a senior associate/counsel, you will have supervisory responsibilities over several junior associates in the group.
Profile
Candidates will ideally possess over 6 years of legal experience within Data Privacy, Technology, and/or Intellectual Property transactions
Must be barred in New York state
Job Offer
This role is hybrid and will require you to be in the office 2-3 times a week at most. This is a partner track position that will provide resources for expanding your personal practice.
