Responsibilities:
The need to interface with the business, provide subject matter expertise and educate business units on Data Protection risks and compliance.
Draft new and amend existing data protection and information security policies, guidelines and processes in conjunction with the CISO.
Maintain records of all data processing activities.
Deliver training across all the business areas; appropriately tailored to the requirements of each specific business function.
Conduct/Comply with internal audits as required.
Desired skills:
Two or more years of experience in data protection compliance.
Exposure to information security is not essential but a distinct advantage.
Expertise in data protection legislation for the UK.
Expertise in data protection across Europe but in particular France.
Expertise in data protection in the US, specifically in the state of NY is an advantage.
Exposure to typical information security frameworks such as SOC2 and ISO27001 would be an advantage.
Strong Project Management and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information.
Strong organisation skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
