About the role A new opportunity has arisen within our Audit and Risk team to join Motability as a Data Protection Executive. This role is vital to help ensure that the organisation complies with internal data protection legislation, whilst providing assurance that Motability is compliant with the relevant legislation and controls protocols
What you’ll be doing: Working closely with our Data Protection Officer, you will work to record our Data Subject Rights Requests and support with the responses to these along with keeping accurate records and monitoring data breaches and near misses.
You will work with key stakeholders across all departments at Motability to help perform initial reviews and responses to Data Protection Impact Assessments and also be responsible for the upkeep of our Record of Processing Activities ensuring these remain up to date.
About you To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience in a Data Protection role, ideally within a charity or health care setting. You will be an analytical thinker with the ability to use your initiative but also a team player. You will be a confident decision maker and have the ability to form good judgements and think objectively, whilst being organised and resilient under pressure
