DATA PROTECTION MANAGER // GDPR // HEALTH // RESEARCH // CAMBRIDGE // £400-550/DAY
REED Technology are working with a client in Cambridge who require a Data Protection Manager to support on a programme of work.
Ideally a solid background in Health / Research / Pharmaceutical / Clinical trials or at least a regulated industry would be beneficial.
Owns risk register / information security risk management
Works X-Team on GDPR / DPA 2018 compliance
Owns DPIA (Privacy Assessment) backlog / process
Advises project / management teams on privacy processes
Works on key problems e.g. Supply Chain Risk / Vendor Surveillance
Agrees on and implements Data Classification schema
Experience Required;
Data confidentiality and processing legislation (GDPR and Caldicott).
Experience in advising and influencing stakeholders
Worked on upholding good data quality and information security principles within an organisation
Data Protection in a healthcare, research or social care setting
