My client is a pharmaceutical company based in Slough. They are looking for a Legal and Privacy Counsel to join their team reporting to the head of legal.
Salary – £90 to £110k depending on experience
Full Time – Hybrid working will be available
Location – Slough
The main duties will be:
Provision of general legal advice and legal advice in relation to UK data privacy matters.
Help manage and resolve challenges with inspections and audits.
Help to manage contractual conflicts/litigation with assistance of external counsel as needed, in coordination with the Senior Legal Director and Group Legal.
Supporting the business in maintaining up to date data processing records, and advising on DPIAs and DSARs.
Working with the brand teams to ensure all product related initiatives are fully compliant.
Proactive monitoring changes to local legislation or local requirements.
Flag high-risk areas and raise business awareness around applicable laws and regulations.
Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and approving commercial agreements.
Support Group Legal projects (contract management)
Coordinate any interactions locally with external legal counsel.
Do you have the following skills?
UK Qualified solicitor (3-5 years PQE)
UK Data Privacy/Data Protection Experience
In House Legal Counsel experience
Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry is highly desirable
