Your role:
As a Privacy Analyst you will support the privacy function in working with key customers throughout the organisation to enable privacy and data protection obligations are being met whilst supporting overarching business objectives.
In this role, you will be part of a privacy function focusing initially on the EMEA region, with the aim of growing to a global capability.
What we are we looking for:
Assistance in identifying evolving privacy/data protection requirements and risks inherent in the Invesco’s operations and in the development of new products and services
Assistance with the design and implementation of company-wide privacy processes and procedures
Assistance with designing, implementing of function-level privacy processes and procedures
Assistance in the identification, implementation, and maintenance of organisation privacy policies and procedures
Assistance with project management on conducting Privacy Impact Assessments including risk analysis and mitigation
Assistance with the systematic privacy compliance reviews
Assistance with investigations into privacy breaches and complaints
Assistance with tracking and monitoring of processes for data subject rights and requests
Assistance in maintaining current knowledge of applicable privacy laws, and monitor advancements in privacy technologies to ensure organisational adaptation and compliance
What you can bring:
An understanding of privacy/security disciplines
An understanding of the financial services industry
The ability to build and manage relationships within a team and with key business partners
Exposure to working in global corporate environments involving multiple businesses
Knowledge and understanding of global privacy legislation (e.g. EU GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA, etc.)
Business analysis experience
An ability to collate material for reporting (including developing relevant metrics)
Entrepreneurial Spirit; hands-on and quick decision maker
Strong communicator and presenter (written and verbal)
Strong analysis and assessment skills to evaluate risks
Strong conceptual thinking and communication skills
Collaborative style to engage effectively with all personalities
Ability to plan and deliver as part of a project team
Good crisis management skills
Current or recent graduate studying towards a degree in Information Security, Privacy, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science
