We are currently seeking a Privacy Compliance Project Manager. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in data privacy compliance, software development processes, and/or operational security, familiar with Europe or Middle East market privacy and security regulations. This role will report directly to the Software Strategy team at Lucid’s HQ. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment
The Role:
As a Privacy Project Manager at Lucid, you’ll work with Ethics & Compliance group to derive the privacy and security requirements for cross-functional software teams, support Lucid Global Expansion Programs, and drive end-to-end project management
You will be part of the Software Strategy team and will work closely with cross-functional leadership
Provide compliance/privacy and security input to software product lifecycle and engineering planning
Create a project plan to track and manage compliance, privacy, and security deliverables including communications, reviews, and status
Partner with our central privacy and security teams to develop our priorities and strategies and roadmap of implementation
Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Engineering Program Management or related work experience
3-5 years of Export compliance experience in a dynamic global trade environment
Experience leading the implementation of operational processes and controls that achieve and maintain compliance, data privacy, and operational security with minimal impact on organization velocity
Experience in one of these fields: privacy, legal, compliance, and/or operational security
Automotive industry (Automaker, EV, OEM Parts Supplier) is a plus
Preferred:
Experience working with a regulatory or monitoring organization
Familiarity with Software as connected vehicle system and overall regulatory scheme of vehicle security compliance
Experience in open-source development, test, and program management environments and tools including Git, Jira, Confluence, or similar
Experience with verifying hardware, firmware, and core platform software running off-the-shelf-operating systems, development environments, and applications
Experience with enhancing skills development and full solution knowledge for the internal team of engineers working on production software readiness, customer use-cases, workload analysis, workload creation, and collaborating with other teams on bring-up/debug/diags
Education:
BS minimum in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
