Data Security is a critical part of the Security team. Specifically, Data Security is responsible for building out capabilities to protect data against unauthorized access in the Plaid ecosystem.

In this role, you will ensure that the flow of information across the Plaid ecosystem is safe and secure. You will build security controls around sensitive data to prevent accidental exposure to internal and external users. You will create systems around data classification, key management, data encryption and data loss prevention to help Plaid to protect critical information assets. You will also provide security consult and help teams to make informed decisions around securing data. And finally, you will influence the company security policy, standards and priorities that govern how data is managed and used.

  • Experience with threat modeling, security architecture reviews, or incident response.
