This will be a long-term remote contract position with a very strong possibility of being hired full-time for the right person. The successful candidate will come in with some basic knowledge of data privacy and will be eager to learn and grow in all aspects of a privacy program. Job Requirements
- Assists with projects to include privacy and data protection, data security, COPPA, self-regulatory privacy frameworks, privacy by design, and privacy shield frameworks
- Assists with the identification, implementation, and maintenance of privacy policies and procedures to include internal user data access, sharing, and handling requests
- Reviews privacy terms in commercial contracts and data protection addendums
- Drafts external privacy notices and disclosures, and monitors internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Reviews games, events, and new product features for privacy implications
- Assists in the development and enhancement of existing global privacy program to include privacy operations and documentation, training, policy enforcement, privacy compliance program monitoring, and auditing; and third-party risk assessments
- Assists with the creation, implementation, and modification of global privacy policies and procedures
- Assists with design and delivery of cross-channel educational presentations and tools relevant to global privacy issues
Qualifications
- Experience in data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, or a related field
- CIPP/US, CIPP/T or other privacy or cybersecurity or other applicable certification or advanced education preferred
- Working knowledge of U.S. and international privacy law, including GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, online behavioral advertising principles, state data protection, and breach notification laws
- Self-motivated and efficient, with good business judgment and analytical skills
- Ability to efficiently manage a large workload and react promptly to multiple deadlines while meeting personal and team key performance objectives
- Ability to work independently
- Must maintain a professional demeanor
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Intermediate Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, DocuSign, and Adobe Professional skills
