Information Technology Services (ITS), currently has two openings for IT Information Security Engineer Level III positions in our Chinden office in Boise. These positions provide critical, frontline, hands-on support on the threat hunting, incident response, and security assessment team.  Tests, implements, deploys, maintains, reviews, and administers the infrastructure hardware and software that are required to effectively manage the computer network defenses and resources.  Monitors network to actively remediate unauthorized activities; performs related work.
 
The selected individuals must possess an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of Cybersecurity technologies, and operating principles in order to manage teams in delivering 24/7/365 Cybersecurity operations. These positions will provide technical, operational, and project leadership as the subject matter expert over the Cybersecurity Operations function. In a hands-on role, will manage advanced, complex Cybersecurity systems, undertake threat analysis, act on known and imminent Cyber threats and maintain the overall effectiveness of the States Cybersecurity operations, both offensive and defensive.
